I’ve been doing therapy for a few years for my self-esteem and relationship issues, and I have worked with quite many therapists in the Seattle area. I am so glad that I finally found Minju and can confidently say that she is one of the top therapists in the area. Minju is very empathetic, compassionate and offers great emotional support to all my struggles and traumas.
Not like many other therapists, Minju does not just sit there, listen, nod and smile. She asks specific key questions to help me realize where the issues lie, and she gives very structured, step-by-step, suggestions during the problem-solving process.
She has a lot of practical tools such as improving one’s self-care (physical/mental/spiritual well-being), reflection (childhood, identity, grief and loss), and self-compassion. I do not know a lot of the technical details in therapy. But I think Minju’s therapy approach combines both cognitive behavior and dialectical behavior therapy, which is why it worked so well for me who has both the analytical and emotional sides. I have improved so much and become much happier. I am a big believer in Minju’s methods and can not thank her enough for guiding me through hardships in life.
